Students from USF's Martin-Baró Scholars (MBS) living-learning community load bags of groceries bound for clients of Groceries for Seniors in July. The student volunteers targeted food justice—the concept of equity throughout the food system—because of the prevalence of food insecurity locally and beyond, according to David Holler, USF professor of rhetoric and language and MBS Director.
